Satilla Regoinal Medical Center Surgical Complex

 

City of Waycross, Georgia Fire Station No. 1 (above and left) was constructed with Georgia Dept. of Corrections inmate labor and several local contractors. Ware County Fire Station No. 1 (below) was funded by a SPLOST (special purpose local option sales tax). Both fire station designs are based on metal building frame with brick veneer walls.

 

First Baptist Church of  Blackshear, Georgia Fellowship hall and classroom wing additions, provided a new 13, 000 square feet multi-purpose auditorium and 5,000 square feet of new classroom and support space for  this growing congregation.

 

Gator Corner, Waycross, Georgia, a commercial project, utilizes elements from historic buildings in downtown Waycross - the city auditorium, the Phoenix Hotel, and the rail depot.

 

REA Freight Depot, Waycross, restoration and adaptive use project which included extensive repairs to the solid brick walls and timber trusses. The structure has become a banquet hall with support spaces including a warming kitchen.

The project was made possible by Georgia Dept. of Transportation funding available to transportation-related structures.

YMCA of Waycross, Georgia renovations included extensive upgrades to the 1968 reinforced concrete building to improve function and convenience to the members and staff.

 

Satilla Family Medicine, designed for Dr. Mukesh Agarwal, a member of the Waycross, Georgia medical community.

 

First Presbyterian Church of Waycross Social hall addition (left portion of the church), is designed to blend with the 1952 structures and  consists of a new hall with stage, sound room and kitchen.

 

Public Service Facilities, Left: Blackshear, Georgia - houses the police and fire departments in an economical brick and metal building. Below left: Nahunta, Georgia - provides large classrooms and exterior porches for daycare and classrooms for adult literacy classes, Below right: the dedication of the public service facility at Alapaha, Berrien County, Georgia. Above: Playground of the Child Care Center at Okefenokee Technical Institute, Waycross / Ware County, Georgia. The Nahunta, Alapaha and Waycross facilities were funded by  Georgia Dept. of Community Affairs grants. 

 

 Tenant build-out for the Great Wraps! restaurant located in the Oglethorpe Mall food court, Savannah.
